How do relationships work on the site?

When you and a member you talk with want to make it official here, open their profile and choose Send Relationship Request. The relationship starts only when they accept it on their Relationship page. Declining changes nothing for either of you.

While you are in a relationship:

• both profiles show an "In a Relationship" badge, and your partner's name only if you both allow it;
• neither of you appears in search or suggestions;
• you can call each other by voice or video, even without ID verification, when calls are available;
• you share Our Journey, a private space for the two of you.

You can be in only one relationship at a time. Either of you can end it at any time from the Relationship page, and you both appear in search again. The badge shows what two members declared here: the site does not check it.
